特殊用法的副詞

Bad、Badly

bad形容詞做為“壞的、不良的”解釋，做為名詞，多與介詞形成介詞片語。

badly做為“非常、不妙”解釋，多為貶意，美式英文bad = badly 。

He is in bad with his friends.------------------------------------------他受到朋友輕視

The business goes from bad to worse.----------------------------------生意每況愈下

The firm got 5 million dollars to the bad.----------------這家公司虧損累累五百萬

The homeless is badly off.---------------------------------------------這遊民窮困潦倒

He is badly injured in the accident.-----------------------------他在意外中傷得不輕

We need money badly(bad).-------------------------------------------------他需款孔急

Good、Well

good為形容詞做為“好的、良的”解釋，做為或名詞“善行、利益”解釋。

well為副詞做為“好、巧妙地、完全地、大概”解，為形容詞做為“健康的”，多半做為補語使用。

Mr. Chen is a good teacher.----------------------------------------陳先生是位好老師

Mr. Chen is good at English.---------------------------------------陳先生擅長於英文

This water is good to drink.--------------------------------------------------這水可飲用

The teacher is good to her students.----------------------------這老師善待她的學生

Good teachers are good for the students.-------------------好老師對學生才有幫助

It is good three miles this way down.-----------------------------沿這一路整整三哩

Well 做為副詞

Mr. Chen speaks English well.-------------------------------------陳先生英文講得好

Mr. Chen is well on in life.-----------------------------------------陳先生年齡相當大

Watch well what I do.--------------------------------------------------------------看清楚

It may well be true.-----------------------------------------------------那有可能是真的

I can’t do it well.--------------------------------------------------------------我不太會做

I can’t well do it.--------------------------------------------------------我怎麼都做不來

I will take this one as well.---------------------------------------------------這件我也要

It is just as well to be careful.--------------------------------------------還是小心點兒

Well 做為形容詞

My father is quite well, thank you.------------------------------托福，家父一切安康

It is well you come along.----------------------------------------------------你來得正好

It’s all very well, but….. ----------------------------------很好很好，只是…..(反諷)

Well, how to say.--------------------------------------------------- 嗯，怎麼說才好咧…..
