(6) 感嘆句(Exclamatory)：用以表示驚訝，懷疑，讚美….，結束多用驚嘆號。

〈I〉What a 形容詞 + 名詞 +直述句 = How形容詞a + 名詞 +直述句

多麼地美好的一天

What a nice day (it is)! = How nice a day (it is)!

他真是個善體人意的孩子

What a nice boy (he is)! = How nice (a boy) he is!

怎麼有長這麼美的女孩

What a beautiful girl (she is)! = How beautiful (a girl) she is! = Isn’t she beautiful!

進階觀念

若感嘆的對象為不可數名詞時： What 形容詞 + 名詞 = How形容詞 the + 名詞

這水太甘甜美

               What fresh water (it is)! = How fresh the water it is!

你英語説得真好

What good English (you speak)! = How good the English you speak!

註 What a 形容詞 + 不可數名詞 = How形容詞 + 不可數名詞，在口語上是被接受的(考試不要用)。

〈II〉假設法的感嘆句

她要是在就好了
