深入探討 that與one的差異(本部分國中生可以不用看)

(1) that替代前述有定冠詞之名詞，one替代前述有不定冠詞之名詞

我想買件毛衣，能不能拿一件來看看?

I need a sweater. Can you show me one (of the sweaters)?

A牌毛衣好像品質比B牌的好

The sweater of A brand seems better than that of B brand.

(2) that可替代前述之可數或不可數名詞，one只可替代前述之可數名詞

His English accent is similar to that of an American.--他的英語有美國腔

His English accent is similar to one of an American.(誤)

(3) that不可替代前述為“人”之名詞，前述為“人”之名詞由one替代

你說的那女孩不是我遇到的那一個

The girl you talked about is not the one (that) I met.(正)

The girl you talked about is not that I met.(誤)
