做為集合名詞：表多數名詞但不加“s”

做為普通名詞：表可數單數名詞
Fortunately, the driver is the only injured in the accident.-駕駛是事故唯一的傷者
The wounded has been sent to the hospital immediately.---------------傷者已送醫
做為抽象名詞：表不可數名詞
The supernatural is something beyond knowledge.---超自然就是知識不及的事
The beautiful of the nature is provident.-------------------------自然之美實乃天賜
名詞轉作形容詞：名詞兩兩同時出現時，第一個名詞通常做為形容詞使用。
